They Studied the perception of consumers across Eighteen of the largest markets in the world for accurately determining the people’s behaviours and emotions towards the property,More than 250,000 people between the ages of 13 years old to 64 years old influenced the list which saw a total of 185 global sports properties measured.

Interestingly association football is the biggest and by far the hottest sporting property on earth. Thirteen out of top twenty are association football related event, tournments or clubs which is not surprising as association football is clearly number one sport in the world by far margin.

FIFA Wc is the most lucrative sporting property in the world and it is number one in the list. Summer olympics is 2nd in the list while winter olympics is on 6th place respectively. After FIFA WC, the 2nd biggest wc is not from cricket or rugby it is FIFA Women’s wc (13th) which is surprising as well as good in many sense as we can now see that people are accepting women sport and this is encouraging for women community and it will only grow in the future. FIBA wc is 3rd biggest world event on planet according to this survey which is surprising and by this list, the claim of rugby and cricket for world number 2 sport after association football is not justifing as ICC cricket Wc is at 33rd position and Rugby Wc did not got their name listed. Both sports have to look what they can do to upgrade their performance in term of marketing. NUMBER : 5

IT IS TIE BETWEEN BANGLADESH CRICKET BOARD AND CRICKET SOUTHAFRICA – APPROXIMATELY 30-35 MILLION USD PER ANNUM.
A) BANGLADESH CRICKET BOARD
Maasranga Television and Gazi TV (GTV) will be the two official broadcasters of Bangladesh Premier League(BPL) from 2019 to 2022-23 for 3 years. They have won the broadcasting rights of BPL for amount of 82 million usd. BPL live Streaming will be on Rabbitholebd Sports app. Gazi tv the private television network of Bangladesh also had the rights for broadcasting domestic bangladesh cricket matches for the value of 22.5 million usd in total for 6 Years.BCB broadcasting deal has been expired and new broadcastic deal is on hold because of covid-19.
B) CRICKET SOUTH AFRICA
Super sports have the domestic right for cricket matches in Southafrica for 6 years for approximately 200 million usd. The deal will run till 2021.
Even through as per now it is an tie but the condition of both the board is in contrast, as bangladesh cricket is on rise and south african cricket is on decline and it is on its all time low of last 3 decade. So we can see BCB rise in revenue because they have both fans as well as rising economy.

PAKISTAN CRICKET BOARD -APPROXIMATELY 75-80 Million USD PER ANNUM.
In last 3 decades this is first time that Pakistani broadcaster ‘PTV’ have brought the rights for Pakistan domestic cricket. It is surprising but the value that is estimated is more shocking and unbelievable because it is said to be generating 200 million usd for PCB in course of 3 years. The previous broadcasting deal with indian broadcaster Sony network was for only 60 million usd for 5 years of span. The deal with Sony network was actually 150 million usd for 5 years but due to no “IND VS PAK” bilateral series they deducted 90 million usd from the deal. PTV along with Indian broadcaster Sony network also have broadcasting right of PSL which is worth 36 million usd for 3 years cycle.

CRICKET AUSTRALIA – APPROXIMATELY 150 MILLION USD PER ANNUM.
CA agreed 6 years deal of estimated worth 900 Million USD. Foxtel and Seven West Media won the Media rights for cricket in Australia. They have beaten the previous broadcaster Network Ten and Nine Entertainment.Seven will broadcast all Test matches, women international matches and 23 matches of Big Bash while Fox will broadcast all Test, one day internationals as well as t20 internations on their network.

ENGLAND CRICKET BOARD – APPROXIMATELY 300 MILLION USD PER ANNUM.
ECB agreed five years deal with Sky Sports and BBC for estimated worth of 1.5 billion usd for 5 years from 2020-2024.This deal include men international,women international as well as domestic matches. The new tournament named as “THE HUNDRED” is also the part of this broadcasting deal. Cricket will return on BBC after 21 years of gap and Sky Sports will continued its partnership with ECB as broadcaster which they are in for last 3 decades.

BOARD OF CRICKET CONTROL IN INDIAN – APPROXIMATELY 700 MILLION USD PER ANNUM.
It is no surprise for all of us as we all know that BCCI is the richest cricketing board in the world but at the pace which their domestic broadcasting revenue is rising it is astronising and mammoth. The Indian domestic matches rights for 5 years is with Star India network for 944 million usd and the amount for Indian premier league is 2.55 billion usd which is also paid by Star India network which is owned by disney.

The revenue of BCCI is more then the combine revenue of all the other five board member in this list which is shocking and amazing. As the years are passing the Indian cricket team value is increasing in many folds and it is unlikely to stop BCCI position in cricket unless and until there is a new sports popularity rises in india or The sudden rise of popularity of cricket in USA / CHINA can also impact the money power of BCCI.

PCB CEO WASIM KHAN INTERVIEW :PCB WANT WRITTEN VISA ASSURANCE FROM ICC AND BCCI FOR 2021 T20WC . PSL 6 NO NEW TEAM, DATES ARE OUT FOR PSL6. PSL6 WILL BE PLAYED IN PAKISTAN.

Talking in an interview with Pakistan senior sports journalist Waheed khan on his youtube channel PCB CEO Wasim Khan has given his open opinion on various topics related to cricket.
He confirm that Pakistan cricket team will have a busy home schedule in 2021 and he also clarify England cricket team will tour for T20s in October 2021 and later in year 2022 England will do a full tour of Pakistan.

Talking on PSL 6 he said the draft process is scheduled to happen in first week of January and PSL 6 league will start from 20th Feb and run till 21 March 2021.As of now PCB is not in a mood to increase the number of franchise in PSL 6 as there is already financial disagreements between the PCB and PSL franchise owners. PCB CEO has said they want to give the current franchise owners an stability and sustainability in monetory terms as they(owners) have taken lot of effort for the success of building PSL as a Pakistani cricketing brand. PCB and franchise owners are trying to find an financial distribution model where Board as well as Owners of their respective franchise can be in win win situation.
Talking on Asia cup 2021 he said it will happen in Srilanka as they have switched the hosting rights and now PCB will host the 2022 ASIA CUP in Pakistan. Talking on this he also added that for 2021 T20WC in india, Ahsan Mani chairman of PCB has asked for an written assurance of visa for Pakistani players from ICC and BCCI.He is also said that T20 WC of 2021 can be shifted from India to UAE due to covid reasons.
He also given his opinion on Babar Azam, he quoted him as “PAKISTAN TRESURE”. He acknowledged Babar Azam’s calibar and temperament. He said that he is at par with Virat Kohli and Kane Williamson in all format and Babar Azam will lead Pakistan in all formats for years to come. Till the day Ahsan mani and me(Wasim Khan) are here in PCB Babar Azam will not treated badly. He is confident that Babar Azam will lead the Pakistan cricket team very well and will achieve new heights in cricket at global level.

Talking on ICC newly elected Independent Chairmen Greg Barclay, He said he is happy and confident as he hope that new chairman will bring freshness and will work for other small members as well and not only for “BIG THREE”. He showed his concern on working of current ICC revenue sharing model from broadcasting rights of ICC major events.As of now BCCI command the big chunk of revenue among all boards member because the revenue that is generated, 80% of that comes from India but PCB CEO is not satisfied with that statement because he said people are watching or investing because there is an oppenent against india, if there is no opponent then can they (BCCI) generate same amount of revenue? He questioned. He is also confident that PCB will try and get at least one right for hosting an ICC event from 2023-31 cycle. His vision is clear to make Pakistan cricket team strong and ruthless again in the world of cricket.

Greg Barclay : The new Independent Chairman of ICC. ICC Chairman will be Greg Barclay.

Newzealand cricket head Greg Barclay has been elected as a independent chairman of International Cricket council. Greg Barclay has defeated Imran khawaja of Singapore. And now Greg Barclay will replace India’s Shashank Manohar.

Election was held on Tuesday during icc general meeting. Electronic voting was done by total 16 boards of directors. In which twelve were full test playing members, three were associate members and one independent female director (Indra Nooyi).ICC CEO Manu Sahni is the 17th member of icc meeting but he does not have right to vote in the election. India England, Newzealand and Australia has voted in favour of Greg Barclay. And Pakistan was supporting Imran Khawaja. To win the position of icc chairman post candidate should have 2/3rd of total votes. And Greg Barclay done it with 11-5.

Greg Barclay was in favour of more bilateral series and Imran Khawaja was in favour of more icc tournaments. Greg Barclay has to leave his Newzealand’s cricket head post to join as an independent chairman of ICC.Greg Barclay thanks all the members for the support. And he said that he value the cricketing market countries but he also want to grow the game in other countries were cricket is at nascent stage. He want existing big members to make money but he also want the game of cricket to grow and spread further worldwide.

ICC Decade Awards ; King Kohli Dominate and Appear in Every Nomination List of ICC Decade Awards.

ICC has announced the category and nominees for the icc decade awards.

ICC has released the nominees for icc decade awards candidates. It consist of 5 categories. Men’s player of the decade, Men’s ODI Player of the Decade, Men’s Test Player of the Decade, Men’s T20I Player of the Decade and ICC Spirit of Cricket Award of the Decade.

Unsurprisingly only cricketer that is nominated in all the category of icc decade awards is none other than King Virat Kohli.

Virat Kohli has scored more than 20 thousand runs in this decade (2010-19) which is not only most runs scored by an batsmen in one decade but also it is most runs scored in a decade ever in international cricket history.
It is most likely that majority of the awards will be won by virat Kohli due to his charismatic and consistent performance across all format in international cricket.

How INDIAN CRICKET TEAM BECOME SO STRONG, Story of richest cricket board BCCI.

The Board Of Control For Cricket in India (BCCI) is the governing body for cricket in India .It is richest board of cricket in world .It is so strong that even through there is lot of Controversies it is still running smoothly due to its structure .BCCI is only sporting  body in India  that does not take any financial help from the government . BCCI is in this position today because of the hard work done by people on and off the field .

The BCCI was formed in 1928 and India got their test status in 1932.but the unexpected win of India in 1983 world cup against the mighty and dangerous West indies changed the view of world about India . As the result of world cup win ,India got the right to host world cup 1987 in India along with Pakistan.but the financial growth began when BCCI sold TV rights in 1991 when South Africa toured India .Later in the year 1996 India again hosted world cup along with Sri Lanka and Pakistan .This world cup was huge success and this started building up BCCI financially .

 But it was league of cricket in India named IPL that made powerful BCCI  more gigantic in  monetary terms .once their was time when BCCI could not give proper facilities  to their  players but now BCCI is the only body of sports in India that give pension to their retied  players .In financial year 2018-19 BCCI  showed  worth of 13000 crore rupees.With the T.V rights of 6138 crore rupees for Indian cricket and 16347.5 crore rupees for IPL is the biggest income for BCCI along with title sponsor which worth 1079 crore for Indian team and worth 2199 crore rupees for IPL .

BCCI  is the powerhouse of cricket in world so it is their responsibility to do justice with the game and do their best to spread the game of cricket in every corner of the world ,make an effort to grow the game globally.

IPL 2020, BCCI GENERATED REVNUE OF 4000 CRORES INR.

Board of cricket control in india aka BCCI has done a tremondous job by conducting an full IPL2020 in UAE succesfully without facing any  mojor disasters.There was a concern among the officials on how they will conduct the IPL2020 in this unheard times of covid-19.The broadcasters and team owners has already thanked BCCI for conducting IPL2020 so smoothly without any controversy.

BCCI treasurer Arun Dhumal has said to Indian Express that BCCI generated a revenue of 4000 crore inr and also they reduce the cost upto 35%.He reveal that Srilanka had approached BCCI for conducting an IPL2020 in their respective nation but due to logistic reasons BCCI choose UAE. He also said that the UAE officials were really helpful in this time of IPL2020.Dubai rules for quarantine was flexible and easy as compare to Abu Dhabi .Abu Dhabi rules for quarantine were  strict which was the little concern for BCCI but all went well .

Arun Dhumal also reveal that the BCCI was in double mind that  whether to conduct this year IPL or not.This doubt came in BCCI officials mind when tennis legend Novak  Djokovic tested positive for covid-19.The treasurer of BCCI Arun Dhumal reveal that it was BCCI Secretary Jay Shah that pushed BCCI to conduct IPL2020.

This year’s IPL2020 was the big hit in all sense as the matches were exciting and playoff race was terrific as all teams were in the race to capture the top spot.The official broadcaster of IPL2020 also said that the viewership of increased by 23% from the previous IPL2019.Total of 400 billion minutes were watched in this season of IPL which is mind boggling. 24% of women viewership and 20% of children viewership has increased in this season as comparison of IPL2019.

IPL has always been the best entertainment product for Indians and it has justified this year as well .Now IPL is heading in right direction and achieving new heights season by season and it coming in race were it can be be called in future as one of best leagues in the world of sports.

THE REVIVAL OF REAL CRICKET”TEST CHAMPIONSHIP”

As we know there is talk on how we can save test cricket from demolish so here is my view as an cricket fan and my love towards the game as I want the game of cricket to grow world wide but also by maintain its quality. Cricket can be spread worldwide with the t20 format but to strength cricket it is important for the members of cricket boards to do something to create an atmosphere where people can really start having an interest in test cricket. Icc test championship is really good for the revival of test cricket but the current design of the tournament is really very much failure and rubbish. If icc really want the pure form of Cricket which is test cricket to be in limelight then they have to be loyal and desicipline. The cricketing board have to come forwade to help icc especially BCCI, ECB and CA. The powerhouse of cricket has to do their part in revival of test cricket.
As per my view, There should be top 8 team taking participation in the championship and every team should play each team once in the tournament from which top 2 teams with most points will play the finale. There will be 29 matches total including the final which will take approximately 5 months. So it will be long tournament and it may take lot of sacrifice mainly from the BCCI, ECB and CA but they have to do this for the betterment of cricket. This three boards have to take some financial hit for goodness of the game of cricket.
As 5 months is long period and we all seeing that test cricket is still alive in England and Australia in attendance perspective so it will be safe and make sense to start the tournament in the summers of the specific country. For example if test championship held in England then it should start at July and end at november and if test championship held in Australia then it should start at October and end at February. The starting few seasons should be held only in this two countries and then as per the requirement and results opportunity should be given to other member to host the championship in future.
The domestic t20 tournament of respective country australia or England have to do an sacrifice for the sake to organising test champion ship on their soil for that respective year of the championship. They can held their domestic t20 tournament before or after this test championship. As test championship will happen in every four year cycle so it will be difficult but not impossible for the success of the championship. Icc should market the test championship with full potential so that it will catch an eyeballs of cricket loving people. It will take a lot effort from icc and every board member but for the sake of game they have to take this situation as an opportunity and work on this as soon as possible.

Icc cricket tournaments

Icc can do cricket tournament every year to create the exciting environment of cricket among the fans.
1)Icc cricket world (50 over)
There should be top 12 teams taking part in this icc wc format just to keep the competetiveness in the tournament. And it should be in round robin format. It will consist of 69 matches in total including both the semis and a finale of the the icc wc.This tournament will over in course of 10 week approximately.

2) Icc t20 wc
There should be 20 teams participating in this form of world cup as t20 is a game of cricket where associates teams can give some sort of competion to the full member team and it will be good for the growth of the game world wide and also good for the associate member to gain some experience and create opportunities for themselves.
There should be 4 groups so that every group will have 5 teams each. This will take 6 – 7 weeks for completion which will include total of 43 matches inculing both the semis and a finale of the tournament.

3) Icc world test championship
There should be top 8 teams in this tournament and in round robin format. Which will include 29 matches (28 matches in league and top 2 teams in the table will play a finale) it will be a long tournament as it will be played in test format of cricket so it will take approx 5 months, but this will be really good for the growth of the game in a larger prospective. And icc should also see to it that no other cricket league are going around at the time of test championship.

4) icc continental cup
This can be really exciting tournament as team should be made from each continent. Every continent will have one team, America continent will consists of players from westindies, canada, america etc. Africa continent will consists of players of south Africa, zimbabwe,nigeria, kenya etc. Europe continent will consists of players from England, wales, Netherland, ireland, scotland etc. Australia continent will consists of Australia,newzealand etc. Asia continent will consists of players from India, srilanka, Pakistan, bangladesh, Afganistan, nepal etc (Due to size of players in Asia is more so there can be two teams of Asia where India – afganistan-nepal players in one team and pakistan-sri lanka-bangladesh players in another team). So there will be Six team in the tournament and it will be in t20 format in round robin style. So there will be 18 matches total including both the semis and a finale. It will take nearly 3 weeks for completion.
